Pls explain....
  • 1
i. A square has 4 corners."Thrice and no more" means that we should multiply the corners with 3.
                 4 x 3 = 12.  The sum of 12 and another number gives 34.  we should find which is the number.
=  x + 12 = 34.    we can find the answer by subtracting 12 from the number 34.  it gives the answer 22. 
                                Thus the answer is 22.

ii.  A week has 7 days. If we add a number to 7, we will get 23.
 =  x + 7 =  23.  we can find the answer by subtracting 7 from 23. it gives the answer 16.
                                 Thus the answer is 16.

iii.  From this unknown number, we should subtract 6. then it gives the answer as 11. which is the number?
     x = 11 + 6 .  It gives the answer as 17.
                   Thus the answer is 17.

iv.   it means that if the number is taken away from 22 , then we will get the answer.  tha answer is 11.
