Solve the followingn simultaneous equation it is 2nd sum

2x + y = 5
3x -y =  5
adding the two we
get
2x + y + 3x -y = 5 + 5
5x = 10
x = 2
y can be found by substituting it in either of the two equations
2x + y = 5
2*2  + y = 5
y = 5 - 4 = 1
Thus x = 2, y =1
