It's unit is watts (W) or joules/sec. Power cannot be transformed from one type to another. Different kinds of power are electric power, optical power, human power, etc. Power is not storable or cannot be stored.

(10.) The practical unit used to measure electricity consumption in households is kilowatts hour (kWh) or unit. 
Example -
An electrical kettle is rated 220 W and 110 V. If the kettle is operated for 2 hours calculate the energy consumed by the kettle.
Here, 
Power = 220 watts => 0.22 kW
time = 2 h 
Energy = P × t
E = 0.22 × 2
E = 0.44 kWh or unit
