(b)  In the poem "An Elementary School Classroom in a Slum" by Stephen Spender, the poet feels that an uncertain, blurred and bleak future awaits these children.

(c)  In the above line signifies the under nourished conditions which made the children so skinny that it appears as if they are wearing skin.

(d)  The figure of speech that has been used in third line is a simile.
