One day a school boy named Ramu was walking back home from school. It was pouring heavily . The school had declared half day on account of the level of increasing water. The school children were let off and they were instructed not to go here and there in the rain but to go home directly . Ramu was very playful . He had to cross a bridge to reach his house. As he was dancing and walking in the rain. he saw a purse floating in the river below the bridge. He felt there must be money in the purse . Immediately he took off his clothes and jumped into the river. Though he was a good swimmer he tried hard to reach the purse.There was water current and he was drawn into the current and he got drowned . While he was drowning he realised what his teachers had told the children not to go here and there but to go home straight. he cried for help but everything was a vain Moral of the story . Elders words are priceless.
