They are capable to produce cells that can perform different function in different parts of body. Stem cell also has the ability of self renewal so it can divide and produce exact copy of itself.
Stem cell therapy is used for medical treatment of various diseases. Stem cell therapy is a procedure to introduce stem cells into damaged or diseased tissue for the treatment of disease. As we know stem cells have capability to self-renew themselves and producing cell with different functions, this property of stem cell is used in stem cell therapy. The stem cells help in replacing the diseased or damaged tissue to cure the disease by producing new cells.
