Solve this:

Dear Student,

No , it is not true always that the sum of any two angles of a triangle is greater than third angle.

Lets take any case where one angle is more that 100.

So if we add 2 angles 35+35=70<110if can take any other example as well but when maximum angle is less than 90 than this equation holds good.For example lets take 3 angles as 80,50,50sum of any two angles is greater than third.So this condition holds true when maximum angle is less than 90 but fails when angle is greater than 90

Dear Chesna,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

We know " The sum of lengths of any two Sides is greater than the length of the third side. "--- {Applicable for all or you can say, in any kind of triangle}

But  the sum of any angles of a triangle also greater than the third angle is not true .

As we can have our triangle , As :

Here

∠ B +  ∠ C  < ∠ A
=>30  degrees  + 30 degrees < 120 degrees..

To verify that sum of any 2 angles of a triangle is not  always greater the third angle you can take a right angled triangle, or  any obtuse - angled triangle..

Thus, Answer: No,, because this can't be true always that sum of any 2 angles of a triangle is always greater the third angle..

Hope this information will clear your doubts about The Triangle and its Properties .

Regards!
