State the significance of presence of ciliated coloumnar epithelium in the respiratory track of animals.
The ciliated columnar epithelium is present in respiratory tract. The cliliary movement helps in movement of mucous and other substances. Also air is pushed away with the movement of cliia and helps to clear the respiratory tract.
