state the three ear ossicles and their functions in which part of our ear are they located

Ear ossicles are the 3 bones found in the middle ear and are the smallest bones found in the human body. They transmit sound from the air to the cochlea.
The bones are as follows-
1. Malleus is attached to the tympanic membrane.
2. Incus is attached to malleus and stapes (the third bone).
3. Stapes is the smallest of the three and is located at the opening between the middle ear and the inner ear.
