In the cyclic process, as the initial state and final state is same, that is, the system starts from the initial state, and goes to the final state, which is the initial state of the system. Hence, there is no change in internal energy. Yes, it is true, that in a cyclic process, the change in internal energy of real gases is always equal to zero.
