this is true that statistics are numerical statements of facts but all facts numerically stated are not statistics because to be a statistics, numerical facts should be in aggregate of facts ,single numerical fact is not statictics at all for example it is given that wieght of anushka of class 10 is 40 kg this is not statistics coz this a single numerical fact but if we say that average wieght of 50 students of class 10 is 45 kg this is statistics as this is aggregate of facts as average wieght of many students is given

This is true as we knew that statistical data must have to be in a comparison form or in averages or in percentages. For example If we say one girl of class 10 had got 65 marks, another got 60 and so on this data was not taken as statical data as it does not have averages or percentages or comparison but ,if we say that average marks of 60 students of class 10 is 70and average marks of 60 students of class 11 is 80 then this data will taken as a statistical data as it have averages and comparison .
