Subject and predicate I want it

Dear studentSubject and predicate are parts of a sentence. The subject is what (or whom) the sentence is about, while the predicate tells something about the subject. Hope this helped. Also, the entire chapter on our website explains the concept of subject and predicate very vividly. Regards

A person or thing that is being considered, shown or talked about is the subject of the sentence and
Predicate is
the part of a sentence which has the verb, and which tells us what the subject is or does. In the sentence??He went cycling after returning from school? the predicate is ?went cycling after returning from school? .
