Summarise the subject of the poem The palm tree

Noble Prize winner, Rabindranath Tagore expressed that palm tree is tall and strong therefore it has a feeling of superiority. This poem celebrates human nature. It shows arrogance of being long. It depicts and portrays the desire to fly. This poem is about the illusion nurtured by the palm tree out of the arrogance, superiority and overconfidence. We should not try to become someone else. We should not forget our roots.
