Symptoms of Syphills and Gonorrhea.

Syphilis is a bacterial disease and caused by the bacterium Treponema palladium. This gets usually transmiited during copulation and hence considered as Sexually Transimtted Disease (STD). It mainly causes genital infections. Therefore, major symptoms are as follows:
Primary syphilis: First symptom usually observed 
  • painless sore (called as chancre) around genitals, rectum and mouth.This usually develops around 3 weeks post exposure to bacteria. 
Secondary syphilis: After few weeks of infection, these symptoms arise
  • fever
  • headache
  • hair loss
  • muscle aches
  • sore throat
  • swollen lymph nodes
  • skin growth around genitals
  • rashes on the palms and soles of the feet.
  • fatigue
Latent syphilis: Even after inital infection, this bacteria remains inactive in the  body and becomes active anytime, causing infection again.

Gonorrhea is also a sexually transmitted diesease caused by bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. It usually infects moist and warm areas of the body and causes gential and urinary infections.
Men and women both show some different symptoms. It has been also find out that in men symptoms appear very late as compared to women.
Sympotoms in Men are as follows:
  • painful sensation duirng urination 
  • greater frequency of urination
  • discharge from the penis usually pus
  • swelling in the testicles
  • sore throat
Symptoms in women are as follows:
  • vaginal discharge
  • burning sensation while urinating
  • Vaginal bleeding - periods
  • fever
  • pain in lower abdomen and pelvic region
