Non - Communicable Diseases or non-infectious diseases are those that cannot be transmitted or passed from one person to another. Deficiency diseases, metabolic diseases, hereditary diseases are examples of non-communicable diseases.

Communicable Diseases are infectious diseases that can spread from one person to another. These diseases are caused by a variety of disease-causing germs called pathogens, which may be viruses, bacteria, protozoa, or fungi.

NON - COMMUNICABLE DISEASES :- Diseases that cannot be passed to another person by touching , speaking ,sneezing and many more are known as non-communicable diseases. Eg ;- normal fever ,dengue

COMMUNICABLE DISEASES :- Diseases that can be passed to an other person by coming in contact like touching ,sneezing ,speaking and many more are known as communicable diseases. Eg;- cough and cold ,chickenpox.

Eg - Typhoid ,goitre , diabetes , heart attack , beri - beri etc . They are also known as non - transmissible diseases. Commumicable diseases ( infectious diseases) are diseases which is caused by a pathogen ( disease carrying agents ) through germs , air , water or an infected person . It's transmission from 1 person to another is called infection . Eg - cholera , malaria , hepatitis , smallpox ,typhoid , tuberculosis , AIDS etc .

Ex of non communicable disease are night blindness berry berry ,heart disease

And communicable disease are the disease which can spread from one infected person to a healthy person if the healthy person is in any type of contact with infected person
Ex- if a person is having Chickenpox the another person who is in contact with him /her can also get infected
Examples of communicable disease- Chickenpox, Dengue Cancer , TB etc
