Teacher,it is known to us that the audible sound range is from 20 to 20,000 Hz..but me and my friends are not able to listen after 13,000 Hz only.Why it is so??

It is true that audible sound range is from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz .Now look if your friend can not listen more than 13000 Hz then he or she must have a defective ear or listening capability problem .
