teacher , my book says that, diffusion pressure of water or any
solvent in a solution is always less than the diffusion pressure of
pure water or solvent wht is the reason fr this?
say for example i have 500ml of water on one side and 500 ml of
water with salt dissolved in it on other side now the volume of
water on both sides is same is the Diffusion presssure of pure
water still greater than the other?
if yes , how?

Yes the diffusion pressure is more for the pure water because in
solvent there are solute particle which decreases the diffusion
pressure of the solution
