let the other diagonal be x cm
given
area of rhombus= area of parallelogram
1/2 * product of diagonals= base * height
1/2* 7 31*x= 8 6*6 8
x=58 48*2/7 31
x=4*2=8
So, the length of other diagonal is 8 cm
