the diagonals of a rhombus are 16cm and 12cm, find

a.Its area

b.Its length of the side.

c.Its perimeter

area of a rhombus=1/2 * d1 *d2

1/2 * 16 * 12

=96 cm^2

lenght of the side = apply pythagorean theorem

side^2 =D1/22 + D2/22

(diagonals are perpendicular bisectors.so each diagnol gets halfth.)

8^2 + 6^2=100

side=root of 100=10cm

perimetre =side * 4=40cm
