I didn't get it yr.. the MMC divides meiotically giving rise to four megaspores of which only one is functional and the other three degenerate. The functional megaspore develops into embryo sac so how does embryo sac development precedes meiosis.
Where did you found this question please correct me if I m wrong. But tell me please where did you found it.
