The nuclei at A and B can undergo nuclear fusion as their binding energy per nucleon is small and as they are less stable so they will fuse with other nuclei to become stable .
The nuclei at E can undergo fission as its binding energy per nucleon is large and hence it will split in to two or more lighter nuclei and become stable .
