The intercellular structure of a cell depicts division of labour as in higher organization. Explain.

Dear student.

The division of labour in multicellular organisms refers to the presence of different organ systems that are capable of performing a particular life process.

Division of labour is seen in eukaryotic cells where different organelles perform different functions. Yes, the intercellular structure of a cell depicts division of labour as in higher organization. As in a cell, different organelles perform different functions, for example, mitochondria are responsible for respiration, contractile vacuoles helps in osmoregulation, lysosome as excretory system, nucleus is the control centre etc.
Same way in an organization there are different people to perform different tasks. For example, the chairman or CEO of an organization acts like nucleus, which controls all the important functions of an organization. There are staffs which acts like various cell organelles, each one is responsible for separate functions etc. All these person in an organization makes it functional.

Regards.
