The lengh of 2 sides of a triangle are 4 cm and 6 cm between what two measures should the lenght of the third side fall ?

We know that

1. the sum of the length of two sides of a tirangle is always greater than the third
2. the difference of length of two sides is always less than the third.......

so it should measure between (4cm+6cm) 10cm and (6cm-4cm) 2 cm

that means......it shiuld measure less than 10cm and more than 2cm.......

Maximum= 6+ 4= 10

10-1=9

minimum=2+1=3

Hence,the measure of the length of the 3rd side should fall between 3 and 9 .......hope u will understand ,,,,,,,,,,,:)
