the lesson enemy stresses the importance of humanity that transcends all social barrier.how is this notion relevant in today's world scenario?

Dear Student.

The lesson "Enemy" nicely brings out the differences and social tension people have belonging to different communities on interacting with each other. It is understandable because people from different places have different background and different cultures. We often see that sometimes people develop a hate towards other communities because of these social differences. But an important thing to realise is that basic human values are much more important than these fights. A human life is important irrespective of the religion or the country he/she belongs to. Dr. Sadao did the same. He kept his values first and helped an American citizen, though their countries were on war. So when it comes to saving someone's life or even helping others we should forget all social barriers and do it because that is the right thing to do.

We hope that this answer helps you.
Regards.
