The meiocyte of rice has ‘n’ chromosomes. How many chromosomes are present in its endosperm

Dear Student,Meiocytes are diploid in nature whereas endosperm is triploid in nature. So in gametes there are half number of chromosome that is n/2. As endosperm is triploid in nature so number if chromosome are 3/2 * n. For example if n=24 then the number of chromosome in endosperm is 36. Regards
