India's national character can only be improved by the dint of honesty and on the strong base of high moral values which is currently degrading in the Indian Scociety. National culture is very important for a country to develope and progess in the correct direction. The national culture impacts how people interact with each other. Each country has its own distinguishable national character. In a global economy,no country is self sufficient ans so is the development of national character important. For example Japan believes more in socialism than individualism. The discipline and honesty among the people of Japan is well-known through out the world. This is one of the prime reasons why Japan has evolved largly after being almost completely devated during the world war2 . They have a unified national character as people, language, culture etc are consistent across the country.

India is a country of vibrant culture, festivals, languages and religions . This is what makes the country different from the rest of the other countries of th world. But India is still counted among the developing countries of the world. The development of the national character of India is not upto the mark which is causing the country to develop but at a slower rate. National character of India can be developed through initiating campaigns and acknowledging the young population with the concept of national character development.
