PREPOSITION It shows the relationship of a noun or a pronoun to some other word in a sentence or a function word that typically combines with a noun phrase to form a phrase which usually expresses a modification or predication. Like The preposition “on” in “The keys are on the table” shows location.
INTERJECTION It expresses emotion and has no grammatical relation to the rest of the sentence or an abrupt remark, especially as an aside or interruption.
"Barracking and interjections from the protesters" or an exclamation, especially as a part of speech (e.g. ah! dear me!).
