Annual fete is the most important event in the school calendar list. Every year our school organizes school fair or fete to raise funds for social causes. This year our concern was to collect fund for the education and living of the children who live in slums.
Our principle started the event by welcoming the chief guest, the Education minister of state and others. After this, our English teacher Mr.Verma gave his thoughts on some burning issues like workforce quality, funding, curriculum and infrastructure of the education system in India. There were several stalls for activities like shooting, card games, balloons and face painting. Attractions seen at school fetes includes raffles, coconut shies, bat a rat stalls, white elephant stalls, cakes, and home made jams and pickles. For Entertainment, Morris dancing, tug of war, fancy dress and pet shows were organised.
The event was stupendous and remarkable. Students, parents and teachers all were mesmerised to see the enthusiasm and arrangement of the school fete. At the end of the fete, our principal announced that we had collected a significant amount to donate for the betterment of the life of slum children.
