Theme of poem tress

Dear student
"The trees" is a poem by Adrienne rich 
Its theme revolves around personified nature...especially trees and how with the development of society, human beings have used nature for their own benefit and greed causing a lot of harm in the way, forgetting the importance of nature
The poem reminds mankind that nature cannot be tamed and is going to break free any ways.
