there are two suppelementry angles one is 2/3 of other find them
Solution:
Let us assume that one of the angle be Ao.
Then the other angle will be = 2/3 of Ao = 2A / 3.
We know that, when the sum of two angles equals to 180o they are called supplementary angle.
Then from the problem the equation we get =
A + 2A / 3 = 180
3A + 2A / 3 = 180
5A = 3 x 180 = 540
A = 540 / 5 = 108o.
If one angle is 108o, then the other angle will be 2/3 of 108 = 72o.
Ans: 108o 72o.
