There is a proverb which is talk of every town.

PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT.

Well I believe a lot in this proverb, last year i hadn't much focussed on english considering it as an easy subject in comparison to pcmb, but this year i am trying to give equal importance to each and every subject.

I want to know will it be helpful for one, to write the answers on our own after reading the chapter thoroughly and then solving all the questions of excercise, in text, solved, and past year papers, but by writing them on a paper without seeing the answer using the understanding of what we read.

If you think it will be helpful, then pls what I can add more to it to decorate my answers.

Dear Student,

I appreciate your interest to love the subject. Remember, to master any skill or subject, the most important thing is to love the subject. In order to improve your performance in the subject, please do the following.
  • Reading passages - Try to find as many passages as possible and solve them when time permits. Start from simple ones and move on to harder ones.
  • Writing task - When you are assigned a writing task, write it and ask someone to correct it. Remember you will not write perfect answers in the beginning. But don't hesitate to try.
  • Grammar - Understand the concept and solve as many questions as possible. English grammar is like Mathematical problems. You learn them only by solving as many as possible.
  • Literature - Read your lessons well. Listen to the explanations in class and jot them in your book. Go home and read the lesson again and write down what you have understood in the lesson. This will help you when you prepare for the examination.
  • Apart from all this, read books and thereby, you will learn many new words. Write down the words, look up for the meaning in the dictionary and learn them. In this way, you will surely excel in the subject.
I hope you find this answer helpful. Please post more questions on the forum to be assisted by our team.
Thank you.

According to me 1.you should read the whole chapter come in your exams and avoid to read summary because summary is not benefit so much 2.Write all the answers yourself of textbook back question and extra question from sample paper 3.After writing the answer go to your teacher and request him/her to chevk your answer whether it is correct or not .4 for novel you should learn all the character sketch

First understand the chapter then read its summary and then read its quedtion answers then when you see question from that chapter surely you will be able to frame the answer.
If you have less time then read all questions answers its help in framing answers a lot .i myself use this technique belive me it helpful...
