To identify wild animals,Carolyn Wells, tge poetess humorous suggests some dangerous ways.Explain with reference to poem 'how to tell wild animals' Long Answer question • identify wild animals, Carolyn Wells. the poetess Explain with reference to the poem •How to Tell Wild Animals•.

Dear Student,
Given below is the answer to your question.

Though the poet talks about wild animals in his poem, the poet uses a humorous tone to describe the different animals one sees in the wild. The poet tells the way to recognise the animals and he uses their way of physical attack to convey this. One may become frightened if this happened in real life but reading the poem does not instil fear in the reader. On the other hand, it gives way for laughter. For example, the poet says that hyenas come with merry smiles; but if they weep, they're Crocodiles.
