Two surfaces are rubbed together, first with a small force and then with a great force. In which case will the friction between the surface be higher? Give reasons...... fast as possible... waiting...

When both of the surfaces will be rubbed faster, they will have a greater amount of frictional force between them as they will get small amount of time to unlock the irregularities and will produce some amount of heat energy too.Rubbing of flint stones is an example where one can easily observe that slow rubbing speed does not produces a spark while faster one does. If rubbing of two surfaces together produces heat, it can be a sign of high amount of frictional force being called in the play.
