let Lot A contain 'x' and Lot 'B' 'y' bananas.
form two equations;i.e.,
2x/3+y=400 ...(1)
x+4y/5=460 ....(2)
On solving 1 and 2, we get
x=300,y=200
Hence, total no. of. bananas are:x+y=300+200=500 bananas.
