wat is d difference  between tube well and dug well?

Hi,

Tubewell is a type of water well that is made exclusively to extract ground water. A long pipe is attached to it. This pipe flows water into a small open tank from where it is distributed in the fields.

A water well is an excavation or structure created in the ground by digging, driving, boring or drilling to access groundwater.

TUBE WELLS ARE THE WELLS FROM WHICH WE PUMP OUT THE WATER THROUGH A HANDLE PRESENT ON IT. In  dug  well  water  is  collected  from  water  bearing  strata.

DUG WELLS ARE THE WELLS FROM WHICH WE PULL THE WATER THROUGH A BUCKET OR ANYTHING BY  WHICH CAN HOLD THE WATER . Tube  wells  can  trap  water  from  deep  strata.
