Water is flowing at the rate of 3km/hr through a circular pipe of diameter 20cm internal diameter into a circular cistern of diameter 10m. What will be the height of the water level in the cistern , if the water flows through the pipe for half an hour.

3 km = 3000m
3000m in 1 hr
so 1500m in half hour
therefore, volume of the pipe = volume of the circular cistern
22/7*0.1*0.1*1500=22/7*5*5*h
15=25h
h=15/25
h=0.6
therefore the height of water level is 0.6m
