What advice did m hamel give to the students and the villagers?do you think he was right in underlining the importance of mother tongue?why?

he sdviced them to stick on their language and it could be the key for enemy who may conquer us.

Hamel  advise them to not to leave their own mother tongue he said that France is a most beautiful language in the world ,- the clearest , most logical that must be guard because  even if they are enslaves as long as they have their language with them they have the key to the prison. Yes, he was right  because every one has the right to have their language with them ,no one can snatch it from you. As long as you have your language it is easy and very comfortable to communicate .Mother tongue is the language that a person speaks from his childhood.
