what are chromoplasts and leucoplast?Give an example of chromoplsts which have green pigment.

Explain why chromosomesis one of the cheif component of nucleus.

The leucoplasts are colourless plastids present in the plant cell. The leucoplasts store starch and other storage products.

Chromoplast- Chromoplasts are coloured plastids, containing coloured pigments like carotene (orange), xanthophylls (yellow) etc. These pigments are responsible for the colour of plants.

Chloroplast is a type of chromoplast containing green pigment.
