• In engineering science, the environment refers to the remaining part of the universe present outside the boundaries of the system. Here, it interact with the physical properties of matter such as density, mass, linear momentum, electric charge, etc.
• In biology, the biotic and abiotic factors present in the surroundings of a person or organism is termed as environment.
