What are nematodes?Where are they found?

A nematodes are small eel-like animals. The are commonly called as unsegmented roundworms. They belong to phylum Aschelminthes or Nemathelminthes (Nematoda) in animal kingdom. Nematodes are found everywhere like in oceans, lakes and rivers, soil, as parasites in plants and animals etc.
