What are the side effects of Lactational Ammenerohea?

Lactational Amenorrhea Method or LAM is a natural and most effective method of contraception (prevention of unwanted pregnancy). It is only adopted by the women who have just given birth. By breast feeding the infant fully for six months, unwanted pregnancies can be avoided. Continuous lactation prevents the menstrual cycle to return in woman which reduces the chances of getting pregnant by 99%. 
It has the following disadvantages:
1. It is short-term method of contraception. It becomes ineffective after 6 months or as soon as the period returns in woman.
2. It does not give protection against sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS.

It has no side effects.
