he concept of social justice works on the combined principles of equality and human rights. It means treating everyone equally and ensuring their rights regardless of their caste, gender, religion etc.  The three principal dimensions of social justice are as follows.

1) Economy : This dimension implies prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth, and equality of opportunity in matters of employment, abolition of untouchability and abolition of titles. These conditions play vital role in order to ensure appropriate social justice in an economy.

2) Culture : All the religions and cultures are given equal importance and no particular religion is considered superior to others. This ensures everyone is treated equally so that the opportunities present in the economy are distributed on fair and equitable basis.

3) Politics : All the citizens are endowed with equal political rights and protection against corrupt political activities. This ensures harmony and balance in the political system of the country and hence, helps in achieving higher degree of social justice in the economy.
