what did gulliver do when he was left alone in his canoe with four days provision

After Gulliver was left alone in his canoe, he looked through his pocket glass and saw several islands to the southeast. He decided to reach the nearest of those islands in around three hours. However, the way was rocky and the journey was not that smooth. He ate some roasted eggs on his way. He had to spend his night under the shelter of a rock.

He sailed to another island next morning. Then he reached a third and later a fourth island. For this, he sometimes used his sail and sometimes his paddles. However, all this was not easy and he had to face lot of difficulties during these four days.
