What did the guru mean by 'The stake of god of justice'?

Dear Student,

The guru duped the foolish king by claiming that the stake with which they were planning to execute his disciple was not an ordinary stake. He said that it was the stake of the god of justice. It was unused and new. Whosoever died first on it would be reborn as the new king of this kingdom in his next birth. The foolish king believed this story and executed himself. In a way, the stake helped the guru's disciple to get justice as it protected him from the foolish king. It also freed the kingdom from clutches of the foolish king. Therefore, it is was truly the stake of the god of justice.
