Fraction is a part of whole.
Just like, you can take a pizza as whole. And if u have eaten 1 out of 7 slices of pizza, it would be considered as the fraction 1/7.
Decimal is another way of representing a portion of a whole.
For example, if u have completed 3 of 10 subjects' homework, then in fraction it would be 3/10, and in decimals, it would be 0.3.
So simple! try these sums.
4/5 + 7/5
98/100 + 73/70 and convert 0.003 in fractions
and if u will have a little bit time left u can also try this one :-
convert 7/10000 in decimals
and
convert 15/50 in decimals.
try these for sure. just an exercise to sharpen ur mind.
