What do you think are the qualities that the elected members must have to successfully lead and representthe village and its people?
1) The Gram Sabha is the place where the work of the villages and the people are discussed.
2) It prevents the Panchayat from doing wrong things like misusing money or favouring certain people.
3) It also keeps an eye on the elected representatives and makes them responsible to the persons who have elected them
4) The elected members must discuss and carry out the development programmes in their respective village areas.
