What horrified the author on her second visit to Mrs. Dorling's house?

The author was horrified to see her mother's belongings being used by Mrs. Dorling. She lied to the author and her mother and used their things. The objects which now belonged to author was in an unfamiliar surroundings.

When Mrs.S's daughter visited Mrs.Dorling's house for the second time, a girl of around 15 opened the door and asked her to come in and take the seat.She offered her tea too.When Mrs.S's daughter went inside the living room,she was horrified to look at the room.All the things were arranged in a tasteless manner,the furniture was ugly and there was also a muggy smell hanging over there.
