What humans values should a teacher have ? Does Crocker - Harris posses these qualities ?

A teacher should act as someone a student trusts, almost like a friend. He/she must also be empathetic enough to understand the needs of the student and must have a sense of humour, and not too serious. Crocker-Harris on the other hand was anything but this. He is extremely dull and the students do not find him relatable at all. Unlike the other teachers, Crocker-Harris is indifferent towards his students and almost appears to show no emotion at all. His behaviour is at times cynical and patronising. For example, when Taplow asked him about his remove, Crocker-Harris replied evasively, saying that he had given the scores that he had deserved. Although Taplow said that Crocker-Harris was not a sadist, this kind of a reply shows us that Crocker-Harris also possessed borderline sadistic tendencies.
