What impression do you form of Edla reading the story, ‘The Rattrap’?
Edla Wilmansson was a person who allowed people second chances, she believed in the essential goodness of human beings and the capacity of faith to transform lives. It was due to her extended sympathy that the peddler became determined to seek his own fortune, buoyed by the goodwill shown to him.
