WHAT IS A CHAIN REACTION ?? EXPLAIN THROUGH AN EXAMPLE .

Chain reaction is a type of reaction in which the products obtained further initiates the process of production of same kind of products.
It is a self sustaining reaction. Chain reactions are in general very rapid but are also highly sensitive to reaction conditions.
Example: burning a fuel gas,the polymerization of ethylene to polyethylene. nuclear reactions, etc
